Where: Cecil County Central Landfill – 758 E. Old Philadelphia Rd., (RT. 7), Elkton, MD
What to bring:
- Medications & Sharps, Gasoline & Diesel, Home Heating Fuel, Kerosene, Oil Paints & Stain, Spray Paint, Paint Thinners, Cleaning Solvents, Poisons, Brake Fluid, Transmission Fluid, Adhesives, Pool Chemicals, Aerosols, Disinfectants, Drain Cleaner, Oven Cleaners, Stain Remover, Fire Extinguishers, Insecticides, Weed Killers, Mercury, Lighter Fluid, Degreasers, Driveway Sealer, Fertilizer
- (These following items are also accepted at the central landfill at no charge during normal landfill operating hours: Mon – Sat 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM) Motor Oil, Antifreeze, Oil Filters, Latex Paint, Lead Acid Batteries, Rechargeable Batteries, Propane Tanks, Fluorescent Lamps, Mercury Thermostats, Sharps
What Not To Bring:
- Commercial or Hazardous Waste from a business, Trash or Construction Waste, Brush or Yard Waste, Empty Paint Cans (Trash), Electronics (Includes TV), Fireworks, Flares, Tires, Recyclables Not Listed, Empty Containers (Trash), Explosives, Heating Fuel Tanks, Radioactive Waste, Biological Waste, Agricultural Waste, Appliances, Refrigerant Units, Scrap Metal, Radioactive Items
