As prescribed by the Charter of the Town of Cecilton, State of Maryland, notice is hereby given of the annual Voter Registration for the Town of Cecilton starting on Monday, March 2nd, 2026.
Registration will end Monday, April 6th, 2026 at 4:30 pm.
Qualifications are:
- Maintains legal residence within the corporate limits of the Town of Cecilton and is a citizen of the United States.
- Will be 18 years of age by the date of the election May 4th, 2026
- Is not disqualified by a criminal record
- Is not under guardianship for mental disability
Candidate Nominations for two council seats will be accepted on Monday, March 2nd, 2026 through Monday, April 6th, 2026 at 4:30 pm. Candidates must be:
- Eligible to vote
- At least 18 years of age
- A town resident for at least one year prior to the election
