The Cecilton Volunteer is a 100% nonprofit organization providing Fire and EMS services to the community. The Cecilton Volunteer Fire Company is always looking for new members to help better serve our community. The Cecilton Volunteer Fire Company is a non profit organization that has been serving the community since 1936. Our founding members as well as the first members of the rescue squad consisted of 8 individuals. H.W. Cheyney, Sr., Raymond Fillingame, C. Rowan, Robert De Lauer, Harry Boulden, Robert Kennedy, Elmer Pierce, Harry Pierce and George Humphrey. By 1938, the Cecilton Volunteer Fire Company elected their first ever Fire line officers and began to function as an organized company.
Today, The Cecilton Volunteer Fire Company provides fire and EMS services to the Cecilton, Warwick and Earleville areas. Running roughly 150 Fire and 500 EMS calls per year, CVFC is always looking for ways to better serve their community.
