Dining With Diabetes Program

Dates: Tuesdays, March 5, 12, 19, 26, 2019
Time: 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.
Location: Cecilton Community Center (Behind Cecilton Library) N, 90-B Center Street, Warwick, MD 21912

Following a Healthy Meal Plan is an Important Step in Managing Diabetes

The Dining with Diabetes Program is a four week program that meets once per week and teaches how to choose and prepare meals that contain less sugar, salt and fat, but still taste good. People who attend the program will sample heathy recipes and will learn:

  • Menu Planning
  • Carbohydrate Planning
  • Portion Control
  • Food Label Reading

This program is for anyone who is at-risk or currently has diabetes, caregivers of people with diabetes, or anyone interested in learning more about the disease.

FREE TO ALL CECIL COUNTY RESIDENTS $40 FOR NON-CECIL COUNTY RESIDENTS

Space is limited to 15 people, so pre-registering is strongly suggested.
