Town of Cecilton Water Customers:
Please be advised that the town’s contracted water and waste water operations firm, Susquehanna Operational Services, Inc., will be flushing fire hydrants. The hydrants are being flushed as a routine practice to remove scale build up from underground water lines and to ensure proper operation of each hydrant.
Caution: While the hydrants are being flushed and for a short time after you may have discolored water entering your home or business. Please inspect your water before using it and allow the water to run until the discoloration disappears. Discolored water could stain laundry if the above precaution is not followed.
- Dates: Monday & Tuesday – Sept. 28 and 29, 2026
- Date depends on where you’re located.
- Time: 8:00 am – Finish (Approx. Noon)
