The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) is continuing to make great progress with the new traffic signals at the MD 213/MD 282 (Main Street) Cecilton Intersection. The design for the replacement signals is complete. The design was completed mid-August per the original schedule, but slowed down a bit because right-of-way needed to be purchased.Β The plan is to obtain a right-of-entry (ROE) from the Royal Farms and from the Cecilton Volunteer Fire Company. Aiming to have thisΒ task awarded by October 16th with the standard 60-day construction duration. This would yield a projected completion date of December 15th.Β SHA is engaged and committed to delivering this project as soon as possible.
